Bond Set For Milford Shooting Suspect

(Spirit Lake)– Bond has been set for the man accused in a shooting Thursday morning in Milford that seriously injured a woman. Online records show 25-year-old Christian William Goyne-Yarns is being held in the Dickinson county jail on a $500,000 bond.

Goyne-Yarns was charged with attempted murder in the shooting that took place shortly after 8:00 am Thursday in the parking lot at GrapeTree Medical Staffing. Goyne-Yarns was taken into custody a short time later at his place of employment in Spirit Lake.

The victim was treated for multiple gunshot wounds at Lakes Regional Healthcare and was transferred by helicopter to Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. At last report she was said to be in critical condition.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation says the incident remains under investigation and that additional charges are possible.
