(Emmetsburg)– An Emmetsburg man has been arrested on assault charges following a disturbance early this (Thursday) morning at a bar in Emmetsburg.
Emmetsburg police were called to “The Office” just before 1:00 a.m. to break up a fight.
40-year-old Matthew Shryock was arrested and charged with assault while using a dangerous weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor. He’s accused of threatening another patron in the bar with a pool cue.
No injuries were reported.
Shryock was booked into the Palo Alto county jail to await an initial court appearance.
