(Primghar)—The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says an arrest has been made in an assault that allegedly took place back on October 26th of this year at a rural construction site.
Authorities say the victim was allegedly hit on the head with a pick hammer.
The victim, a 16-year-old male, was taken by private vehicle to the Orange City hospital and was later life-flighted to a Sioux City hospital with possible brain hemorrhaging.
Upon further investigation, a felony arrest warrant was issued for 45-year-old Raul Crioyos of Ellsworth, Iowa. Crioyos was arrested October 30th . Crioyos was charged with willful injury and was booked into the O’Brien county jail on 10-thousand dollars bond.
