Area Soldiers About To Return Home

(Estherville)– It’s been almost a year since a number of area soldiers were deployed to Kosovo on a peacekeeping mission. Now, they’re about to return home.

A welcome home for the soldiers with the 194th Field Artillery Battery A of the Iowa National Guard in Estherville is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Friday (July 11th) at the high school football field in Estherville.

The soldiers will be escorted on their to Estherville by the Iowa State Patrol, Palo Alto and Emmet County Sheriff’s Offices and Patriot Guard Riders.

In the event of inclement weather, Friday’s ceremony will be held at the Readiness Center in Estherville.
