(Milford)– Milford Fire Chief Brian Craig says they’ll try a second time to get a bond issue passed for a new fire station.
Craig made the comment to KUOO news following Tuesday’s narrow defeat of a 3.1 million dollar bond issue. It fell just short of the required 60 percent approval, receiving 59.95 percent, or roughly one vote.
Craig says it’s likely the same proposal will be presented to voters in six months–the earliest another election can be held.
