(Spencer)– Two Texas men were arrested on assault charges following an incident Sunday evening in Royal.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called around 9:48 pm to 204 Long Street after getting a report of an active assault involving several men. A subsequent investigation resulted in the arrests of 35-year-old Victor Jasso of Austin, Texas and 34-year-old Esteban De Santiago of Weslaco, Texas were arrested and charged with assault.
The Spencer Police Department assisted on the scene.
