(Arnolds Park)– Some property owners in the Pillsbury Point area are taking the city of Arnolds Park and state of Iowa to court over plans to improve a trail through that area. Some shoreline restoration would also be part of the project.
The property owners claim the city abandoned rights to the trail, something city officials deny.
Both the city and the state have filed motions seeking to have the case thrown out. It’s uncertain as to when a ruling could be made on the matter.
Work on the project was scheduled to get underway soon.
