3rd Reading & Possible Adoption Of ATV Ordinance On Agenda For Special Fri. Meeting Of Spirit Lake City Council

November 22, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– A third reading and possible adoption of an ordinance that would allow all-terrain-vehicles to be operated on some city streets is on the agenda for a special session of the Spirit Lake City Council scheduled for Noon Friday (Dec. 21st).

The council will also set a date for a public hearing on a proposal to enter into an agreement with the Lakes Community Land Trust to convey property at 2302 Hill Avenue.

Following that, the council will convene as trustees to Drainage District 22. Agenda items for that meeting include an engineer’s report on costs to repair the south outlet near McDonalds in Okoboji and discussion of a detention pond near the Great Lakes Mall.

That meeting will also be held in the council chambers at Spirit Lake City Hall.
