(Graettinger)– A Graettinger woman faces multiple charges following a brief pursuit this past Wednesday evening in Graettinger.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says 44-year-old Heather Peterson was charged with driving while barred, eluding law enforcement, possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine…1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, transporting an open container of alcohol, failure to provide proof of insurance, failure to obey a stop sign and fraudulent use of registration.
Peterson was booked into jail pending an initial court appearance.
The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit and the Iowa State Patrol assisted on the scene.
