(Arnolds Park)– The University of Okoboji Corvette Club recently donated $2,000 to the Okoboji Foundation to assist in annual grant funding opportunities.
Club officials say the donation was made possible by proceeds from their 2020 Autocross and Vettes In The Park events.
The U of O Corvette Club has donated more than $31,000 to the Okoboji Foundation since 1997.
The club will hold its annual Autocross June 19 at Rosenboom’s in Spirit Lake with registration beginning at 9:30 that morning. Any vehicle is welcome to participate.
Registration for the 2021 “Vettes In The Park” will be held Friday, July 30th from 12 Noon until 4:00 pm at Sampson Corvettes in Sanborn, Iowa. Participants may also register on the club’s website or the day of the show. The car show will be open to the public Saturday, July 31st beginning at 8:00 am at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park.
The University of Okoboji Corvette Club has been in existence since 1990. It currently has just under 100 members.
