Everly Man Sentenced On Federal Meth Charges

(Sioux City)– An Everly man will spend a little more than 11 years in jail after being sentenced in federal court on drug charges.

48-year-old Jimmy Crouch pled guilty in December of last year to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, one count of possession with intent to distribute meth in a protected location and one count of distribution of methamphetamine in a protected area.

Court documents say Crouch distributed more than seven pounds of a meth mixture brom January, 2019 through April 20th of last year in Wright and Webster counties and that officers seized nearly four ounces of the drug from Crouch. He was also accused of distributing meth within 1,000 feet of public parks and playgrounds in Eagle Grove.
