(Milford)– The city of Milford and its Zoning Administrator are parting ways.
The city council Monday evening accepted the resignation of Don Brinkley and voted to advertise for a replacement.
The Northwest Iowa Planning and Development Commission will assist the city on zoning matters in the interim.
The council earlier this month revised Brinkley’s contract taking him out of any zoning related matters involving the Okoboji Community School District, siting a possible conflict of interest from an ongoing dispute Brinkley has had with that entity.
