(Okoboji)-The Friends of Lakeside Lab’s summer speaker series will kick off Tuesday night, KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
Iowa Lakeside Laboratory’s Science Seminar Series will get underway for the season on Tuesday evening.
Lakeside’s Scientist in Residence, Dr. Rebecca Kauten says, she’ll be giving an overview of current research projects.
“The main focus will be, active research projects that we have underway, talking a little bit about student involvement, and letting folks know that we are a resource for the community when it comes to scientific inquiry, we’re a resource when it comes to linking with other university partners and researchers, not just in the State of Iowa, but across the country, as well.”
The talk will be held at Mahan Hall on the Iowa Lakeside Laboratory Campus starting at 7 o’clock Tuesday evening and is free and open to the public.
