(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson County Board of Supervisors today (Tues.) voted to schedule a special meeting for Monday, June 14th at 9:00 am to consider a preliminary and final plat for a proposed subdivision in the Egralharve area of West Lake Okoboji.
Megan Kardell of the county’s Planning and Zoning Office presented the request. She says the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the project at their meeting on Monday, and that the developer wants to get started on it sooner rather than later…
“The reason we are requesting the special session is because due to summer schedule, and our 15 day lead time as part of our process, our legal process, the developer would have an additional hardship of about 14 additional days that he would not be able to get started on his project out there in Egralharve.”
The supervisors are about to begin their summer schedule of meeting every other week.
