(Denison)– A head-on crash in Crawford county Saturday claimed the life of a Cherokee woman.
The Iowa State Patrol says 30-year-old Theresa Mae Denery of Cherokee was driving a 2017 Nissan Sentry northbound on Highway 59 when she crossed the center line and collided with a southbound 2018 Toyota Camry driven by Corina Campa of Denison.
Denery was pronounced dead at the scene.
Campa and two passengers in her vehicle were transported to an Omaha hospital.
The collision took place a little before 7:30 am.
