Six Young Women Will Compete For Title Of Clay County Fair Queen This Sunday (May 2nd)

(Spencer)– Six young ladies will be vying for title of Clay County Fair Queen in a competition this Sunday, May 2nd, at the Clay County Regional Events Center.

They include Gabbi Carpenter of Royal, daughter of Mel and Rick Brichta; Jazmine Edwards of Spencer, daughter of Brian and Robin Edwards; Lizzy Findling of Royal, daughter of Jennifer Findling; Kaylee Iedema of Spencer, daughter of Mike and Janet Iedema; Shayler Van Gelder of Spencer, daughter of Jay and Shantel Van Gelder; and Ellie Wallace of Spencer, daughter of Brad and Ruth Wallace.

The contest will conclude with a pageant and coronation, beginning at 7:00 pm. It is open to the public.

Each contestant will receive a prize package with the Queen receiving $1,500 in cash and a number of other prizes.
