O’Brien County Traffic Stop Lands Man In Jail On Drug Charges

(Primghar)– A traffic stop this past weekend resulted in the arrest of a Primghar man on drug charges.

Authorities say 45-year-old Daniel Trevino was pulled over Saturday in the 3100 mile of County Road L26 near Sheldon. A deputy reported finding a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine along with paraphernalia, a substantial amount of cash and several cell phones.

Trevino was arrested and charged with failure to affix a drug tax stamp, drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance…2nd offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance and driving on the wrong side of two-way highway.

Trevino was booked into the O’Brien county jail.
