“They have a Proof of Commercial Relevance Program which is a program that helps provide funding to make prototypes and to find out hey, does this product idea have legs or not. And, you know, you can do customer discovery to make a prototype, that sort of thing. The Iowa Demonstration Fund. Once you’ve got past this things has legs, you’ve done your customer discovery, you understand its value proposition, you’ve built your prototype and you’ve put it in front of customers and received feedback, but you need money for the marketing message, you have to be able to demonstrate to your customers that this product has relevance for them. Then the Demonstration Fund is the one for you. Once you’ve gotten past that stage and you’ve got customers and, you know, you’ve got traction and all that good stuff and there’s a lot of scaling, there’s another whole suite of funds that they have that are available to help accelerate the growth of the company.”

Dalziel says the funds are available through a competitive basis, and that the Corridor has the resources to help apply for them…Tech Funding02

“A lot of people apply, not a lot of people get. But the Corridor has a tremendous history in terms of the coaching services that we provide and our success rate is very high.”
