(Des Moines)– The supply of COVID-19 vaccine is now exceeding demand in some counties in Iowa, including several in our area.
The Iowa Department of Public Health has instructed counties where that’s the case to decline doses when they can’t ensure they will use them all.
43 counties in the state have declined additional shipments, including Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Ida, Lyon, O’Brien, Palo Alto, Sac and Woodbury in northwest Iowa.
