Two NW Iowa Airports Awarded Funding For Improvements

(Undated)– Two northwest Iowa airports have been awarded funding to assist with some improvements. 

The Cherokee County Regional Airport in Cherokee will get $290,000 for a taxiway lighting project. 

The Spencer Airport will receive $300,000 to seal a runway and repair some pavement joints.

The funding is included in a $627 million infrastructure and safety projects made possible by the Federal Aviation Administration.
