Assault Investigation At A Business Near Sioux Rapids Sends One Person To Jail

(Sioux Rapids)– An investigation into an assault that took place this (Tues.) morning at a business near Sioux Rapids resulted in the arrest of a Spencer man.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to M & C Anderson Pullets regarding an assault that had taken place. The victim sustained some injuries but denied medical assistance.

An investigation resulted in deputies arresting 25-year-old Eisenhower Rochell of Spencer who was charged with assault. Deputies learned Rochell was also wanted on two outstanding Clay county warrants for failure to appear for driving while suspended and failure to provide proof of financial liability.

Rochell was being held in the Clay county jail pending a court appearance.
