(Armstrong)– A traffic stop March 16th in Emmet county resulted in the arrests of two Minnesota men on drug charges.
The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy in Armstrong observed suspicious behavior in the Casey’s General Store and saw the suspects get into a vehicle. The deputy followed it and initiated a traffic stop after observing a traffic violation.
Upon investigating the deputy noticed some controlled substances and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The driver, 32-year-old David Miller, and a passenger, 30-year-old Jose Nestor, both of Ceylon, were arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance…1st offense…marijuana, and possession of drug paraphermnalia. Both were booked into the Emmet county jail.
