(Spencer)– The Spencer Jaycees will hold an Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday. Tara Brown of the Spencer Jaycees says it will be held at the Clay County Fairgrounds, enter through Gate C. She says it’s open to kids ages 1 to 11…
“It will be starting at 9:00 on Saturday and the first group of kids will be 1 through 3 for ages and then after that we’ll reset, get more eggs out, then 4 through 7, then 8 through 11.”
Brown says prizes will be awarded for those who find special eggs and that everyone who attends will get something…
“No matter what when you show up you will get a goodie bag at the end of the Easter Egg Hunt or the time that you find eggs, and there are some other prizes that will be available so if you get a special egg with something in it it will tell you and we’ll have a prize table for that and then something also we do every year is we have a grand prize of some bikes. So each age groups get a new bike.”
The event will be held rain or shine.
