(Rock Rapids)– A traffic stop this past Wednesday in Lyon county resulted in the arrests of two people from Sibley on drug charges.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says the driver, 40-year-old Anton Alsip and a passenger, 34-year-old Pablo Marchessini, both of Sibley, were allegedly found to be in possession of two controlled substances.
Both were booked into jail on charges of a drug tax stamp violation, possession of methamphetamine 3rd or subsequent offense, possession of marijuana 3rd or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office K-9 assisted in the investigation.
