Jackson County Crash Claims A Life

(Windom, Mn.)– Authorities in southwest Minnesota have released details into a single vehicle crash Friday in Jackson county that claimed the life of a St. James man and injured another person.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Joseph Andreszcuk was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala southbound on County Road 17 when it left the roadway while rounding a curve. The vehicle rolled multiple times, coming to rest in a field. 

Andreszcuk was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger, 23-year-old Josha Wachal of Windom, was taken to the Windom hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

The Minnesota State Patrol, Windom ambulance and the Windom Fire Department assisted on the scene.

Authorities say the crash is still under investigation.
