(Spirit Lake)– A worker in the Dickinson County Treasurer’s Office is facing some legal trouble. Online court documents show Terri Foss was charged with non felonious misconduct in office and performing a 3rd degree fraudulent practice involving between 500 and a thousand dollars.
The charges stem from a criminal complaint filed by the Iowa Department of Transportation.
Dickinson County Attorney Amy Zenor has recused herself from prosecuting the case due to conflict of interest concerns. A special prosecutor has been appointed.
Foss has pled not guilty and is scheduled to go on trial May 11th.
