NW Iowa Sheriff’s Deputy Injured While Pursuing A Vehicle

(Meriden, IA)  —  A northwest Iowa deputy is recovering from injuries suffered in a chase Thursday morning near Meriden. 

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office says the deputy tried to pull over 26-year-old Dustin Rosewall of Cherokee but he refused to stop. 

The pursuit ended after a about a mile-and-a-half and when authorities used a pit maneuver to stop the suspect vehicle.  

Investigators say the deputy’s injuries are minor and charges are pending against Rosewall.
