(Ayrshire)– An investigation Tuesday by the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office into a disabled vehicle near Ayrshire resulted in the arrest of a Spencer woman.
Deputies say they determined it had allegedly been driven by 33-year-old Heather Thomas. She was charged with driving with a barred license and failure to maintain registration plates.
As Thomas was being booked into jail she was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Thomas was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of contraband in a correctional facility.
