(Spencer)– A water tower on the south side of Spencer was officially decommissioned today (Wednesday) and was taken down.
The tower was damaged during the 2017-2018 winter. A new tower has been constructed to replace it.
Officials with Spencer Municipal Utilities say the cost of the project was covered through an insurance claim.
