Execution Of Search Warrant Results In Arrests Of Two Spencer Men On Drug Charges

(Spencer)– The execution of a search warrant this (Fri.) morning on a residence in Spencer resulted in the arrests of two men on drug charges.

The Spencer Police Department says officers conducted the search around 6:00 am at 930 East 8th Street.

40-year-old Hak Lovan was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine and marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police say Lovan was also wanted on outstanding warrants for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $2,500.

28-year-old Dylan Halbur was charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine…3rd or subsequent offense. Halbur was also served warrants charging him for violation of probation, interference with official acts and two additional warrants for failure to appear. He was being held in the Clay county jail on bond of $8,100.

Spencer police were assisted by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
