(Spirit Lake)– With Winter Games upon us comes a reminder from law enforcement agencies to celebrate safely.
Dickinson county authorities say 31 people were arrested during the 2020 Winter Games. Spirit Lake police say of the eight arrests they made, three were for operating while intoxicated.
Authorities are urging those planning to use alcohol this weekend to not drink and drive. They say there will be additional officers on duty this weekend in the Lakes Area and are urging those planning to celebrate to have a designated driver or utilize the various taxi and ride services available.
