(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson County Board of Supervisors Tuesday approved a proposal to strengthen four bridges. County Engineer Dan Eckert estimated the cost at roughly $70,000 for each bridge, saying it will extend the time before they will need to be replaced altogether…
“They range in age from one in 1963, two 1970’s structures and one 1973 so again, same thing we talked about in the past. The super structure is in good shape and we’re just trying to give it new legs, to replace the wood timber thing, substructure, that’s in place, so.”
The bridges are located on 110th Avenue just west of Lake Park; near the Neppl gravel pit in Lakeville Township; one is located in Richland Township, and another is in Westport Township.
