(Spencer)– The 2021 Family Fest won’t be held due to COVID-19 concerns. The 11th annual event had been scheduled for Saturday, March 6th.
The event’s organizing committee announced in a statement “We strive to put on a fun-filled day of events, activities and vendors for attendees across northwest Iowa. However, we feel with the current COVID-19 mitigation measures that are in place, we would not be able to put on the same quality of event that everyone deserves and expects, and do so in a safe and responsible way.”
Organizers say Family Fest will return in 2022.
