(Spirit Lake)– Officials with Osceola Rural Water System say repair of a broken water main on the north side of West Lake Okoboji Wednesday will result in a boil order going into effect for that area.
Officials say repairs to the 8 inch line are scheduled for Wednesday morning.
Residents in the North Bay area, including Beaches Condo and extending east/southeast to Pikes Point State Park, along with all of the Monarch Cove area and the Okoboji Camp Owners Association, will be included in the boil order.
The advisory will remain in effect once bacterial sample results are available and are satisfactory. Officials say another notification will be given at that point.
