(Estherville)– Some repairs will be made in the coming year to a heavily traveled street in Estherville. The city council Monday evening awarded the low bid of $132,805 to Beck Excavating of Spirit Lake to do the work.

The council also adopted a resolution approving plans and specifications for the project following a public hearing.
It’s the second time the council has held a bid letting on the project. Bids came in much higher than expected at a letting last year.
