(Sibley)– Charges and citations have been filed against an Ocheyedan man stemming from a single vehicle crash earlier this month.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 36-year-old Conrado Gomez Vega had been driving a 2015 Dodge Ram on Oriole Avenue south of 190th Street when the vehicle left the road, hopped a driveway, then landed back on the roadway. Authorities say the vehicle went off the road again and struck the concrete barrier of a bridge, causing about $2,000 in damage to it. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $35,000.
Gomez Vega wasn’t injured. He was arrested for operating under the influence…1st offense and was cited for failure to maintain control and open container. He was released from jail after posting a $1,000 bond.
