(Spencer)– A single vehicle crash today (Fri.) in Clay county sent a teen to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a 14-year-old male juvenile from Spencer was driving a 2001 Cadillac in the 2300 mile of 365th Street when he lost control of the vehicle. It went into a field and eventually came to rest.
A teen passenger in the vehicle was later taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver was cited for violation of a school permit and failure to maintain control.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,500.
