(Jackson, Mn.)– Authorities say dense fog was a factor in a semi rollover early Tuesday on Jackson County Road 29 at the Iowa state line.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says 61-year-old Dennis Kearney of Lakota, Iowa was driving a semi hauling animal byproducts southbound when he lost control of the rig on some curves. The semi left the road and rolled in the ditch.
Kearney was injured in the mishap and was taken to an area hospital.
The Jackson Fire Department and Jackson County Public Works assisted in the clean up.
Moderate damage was reported to the semi, owned by Farmers Union Industries.
