Hartley Man Arrested On Forgery Charge

December 09, 2020

(Hartley)– A Hartley man wanted for forgery has been taken into custody.

Authorities say 37-year-old James Stallman was charged with four counts of forgery.

Court documents indicate Stallman allegedly wrote four checks that weren’t his and forged the owner’s name on them. The checks were written to a Sutherland convenience store.

Stallman was arrested Monday and was booked into the O’Brien county jail.
