(Lake Park)– Construction of a new waste water treatment facility in Lake Park is getting a financial shot in the arm.
The Iowa Economic Development Authority today (Tues.) awarded a $500,000 block grant that will go toward the cost of the project. It has an estimated cost of $6 million.
The grant was among $3.6 million in funding awarded by the authority to projects in 10 Iowa communities.
