Dickinson Co. Hunger Coalition Receives $10,000 From First Lutheran Church

December 04, 2020

(Milford)– The Dickinson County Hunger Coalition has been awarded $10,000 from First Lutheran Church of Milford.

$5,000 was awarded through the church’s foundation, with another $5,000 coming from the First Lutheran Women and the church’s “thank offering” collected the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

Founded in late 2017, the Dickinson County Hunger Coalition consists of 18 inter-related programs ensuring access to basic nutrition and offering the support and resources necessary to assist clients in the transition out of food insecurity.

Since its establishment in 2013, the First Lutheran Foundation has given more than $16,000 in grants to help those less fortunate.
