(Spirit Lake)– City officials in Spirit Lake say they’ll be investigating the source of a water leak tomorrow (Thurs.) in the area of 11th Street and Fargo Avenue. They say that depending upon what is found, there could be a temporary reduction in pressure for residents from 10th Street to 15th Street on Fargo Avenue. They say that would likely occur between 9:00 am and 12 Noon.
City officials add that if the problem is found to be with the water main, then more extensive repairs would need to be made, which would likely result in the issuance of a boil order. They say if that turns out to be the case, residents in the affected area would be notified.
City officials say they won’t know more until some excavation is done.
