Investigation Into Loud Music Complaint Results In Drug Arrests

(Armstrong)– An investigation into a loud music complaint in Armstrong recently led to the arrests of two people on drug charges.

The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called around 10:20 pm November 23rd to 605 4th Avenue Apartment 4 in Armstrong and discovered one of the occupants was in possession of a controlled substance. 23-year-old Joshua Smith was arrested and booked into the Emmet county jail.

Authorities then obtained and executed a search warrant on the residence, resulting in them finding additional controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Another occupant of the apartment, 31-year-old Nickolas Hummel-Pirmantgen, was arrested and booked into jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance…3rd or subsequent offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
