(Des Moines)– The state of Iowa today (Fri.) is reporting 1,226 new, confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 37 additional deaths related to the virus. The state’s death toll now stands at 2,349.
1,226 hospitalizations were reported for the 24 hour period ending at 10:00 am this (Fri.) morning. That was down from 1,269 on Thursday.
151 COVID-19 outbreaks are being reported at long term care facilities throughout the state.
