Another Area School Transitioning To Online Learning; Staffing Issues Cited As Part Of The Reason

(Sherburn, Mn.)– The Martin County West School District announced Tuesday that due to the impact of COVID-19 on the Junior/Senior High School community and their ability to maintain appropriate levels of staff, they will be moving all students in grades 7-12 to full Distance Learning beginning Monday, November 30th through December 11th.

Students may access the Junior/ Senior High School on Wednesday to gather materials needed for Distance Learning.

Students in grades Pre K-6 will stay in Hybrid and continue to attend daily.

A decision will be made December 9th on whether to extend the Distance Learning beyond this December 11th.
