(Spirit Lake)-The Spirit Lake Chamber has launched their “Shop Local-Motive” campaign, KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Spirit Lake Chamber of Commerce is encouraging residents to shop locally during the holiday season with their Shop Local-Motive Campaign.
CEO Blain Andera says weekly prizes will be awarded. “It’s a great opportunity to reward customers of our local merchants, and it’s so simple to participate in this. They just have to save 4 receipts from 4 different participating merchants, so turn in 4 receipts here at the Spirit Lake Chamber office, or they can take a picture and email it to spiritlakechamber@gmail.com and get entered into the weekly drawing. So, we have 4 different weeks, November 15-21, November 22- 28, November 29-December 5 and then the final week, December 6-12. Each week we’re going to be giving away a $50 gift card from 10 or 11 participating businesses, and $250 in Chamber Bucks. Thanks to the Okoboji Motor Company we’ve got a $500 grand prize in Chamber Bucks and that will be drawn out of all of the entries.”
He adds that they also have a Selfie Challenge underway. “So, at each participating business you can take a selfie and enter that on facebook under #SLSHOPLOCAL2020, and get into an additional $250 bonus drawing for a selfie challenge.”
