(Spirit Lake)– The colder weather is going to result in some changes for the Spirit Lake Test Iowa Clinic.
Effective Monday, the clinic will become a walk-in facility which will be located just inside Door D at Lakes Regional Healthcare. The door is located on the north side of where Lakes Family Practice used to be located, along 23rd Street. Patients are asked to park in the parking spots just outside that location, get out of their vehicles and stand in line to be tested just inside the hospital. Officials say only one person will be allowed in the building at a time unless it is a family being tested.
The hours for the clinic will remain the same: Monday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm; and Friday from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.
Hospital officials say the Test Iowa Clinic will be closed when the weather is inclement, defined as when area schools will close due to the conditions.
