(Arnolds Park)– The Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the chair and co-chair of the upcoming University of Okoboji Winter Games.
The Chair is John Hight, a civil engineer with Beck Engineering in Spirit Lake. Hight, who lives in Spirit Lake, is a 2005 graduate of Spirit Lake High School.
The co-chair is Dr. Mara Groom, a family medicine physician at Lakes Regional Healthcare. Dr. Groom is on the board of the Iowa Academy of Family Physicians and is President of the Spirit Lake Noon Kiwanis Club. She moved to the Iowa Great Lakes five years ago.
The 41st University of Okoboji Winter Games will be held January 28th through the 31st, 2021.
