(Mallard)– An investigation this past Saturday into a disturbance in Mallard landed a man in jail.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a report of an argument at a residence near Mallard and that a man was allegedly threatening a woman with a loaded firearm. 70-year-old David Grethen of Mallard was arrested and charged with domestic abuse assault displaying or use of a weapon…1st offense.
The Iowa State Patrol, Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Office and Pocahontas police assisted on the scene.
