(Estherville)-It’s “Sip the Ville” in Estherville on Thursday, KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Estherville Area Chamber of Commerce will host their Sip the Ville event on Thursday evening. Executive Director Lexie Ruter says it’s the second year for the event. “We had Sip the Ville for the first time last year and so we’re really excited to get to have it again this year. We have 13 stops, with 15 different hosts visited. For $10 you can purchase a custom wine glass and pick up your guide to your 13 stops, and then you can go around to all those 13 places, sample wine, beer and food, eat snacks and do some shopping. A lot of stores will have sales going on or coupons to come back later, and then if you go to all stops and get your guide punched at each one, you’ll be entered in for a drawing with a grand prize giveaway full of tons of prizes from those local businesses that are participating.”
She notes that tickets are available at the Chamber and online. “Both options are available. So, if you want to pay by credit card, then you can purchase online right now. Go to our facebook page, we have an event, Sip the Ville up. The link is right there, you can click and pay right online, or else you are welcome to purchase tickets at anytime, even during the event, at the Chamber Office, but we can only take cash or check.”
Sip the Ville will run from 4 to 8 on Thursday evening.
